Despite having a totally non-kinetic week of activity, with no weapons expended; 39 Sqn and the UK Reaper force continued to play a vital and decisive role supporting UK and Coalition ground forces across the Helmand AO. Reaper’s main objective was to gather Pattern-of-Life information and monitor ground movements, along with C-IED intelligence-gathering missions across the southern regions of Afghanistan for UK, US and Afghan forces.
