Sentinel continued to provide near real time support to UK Ground Troops across the AOR. Sentinel was tasked to support a Combat Logistic Patrol (CLP) which safely followed a new route planned within an area previously subject to attacks. However, the main effort of the 5(AC) Sqn aircraft has been the on-going ISAF blocking operations, having a dramatic effect in preventing insurgent movements of arms & ammunition, bomb making equipment and illegal narcotics into Afghanistan.
