Take part in social events and celebrations

You’ll experience the unique traditions and culture of the RAF and the Reserves in regular social events – from barbeques to formal dinners. And you can invite your family to many events and share the good times with them.

Enjoy a camaraderie unique to the Armed Forces

Once you’ve spent a couple of nights in the field, you’ll start to understand the close bond that troops develop. You’ll live, work, learn and have fun with your friends. You’ll learn to trust them with your life and you’ll know that they trust you with theirs.
