The job
Supply personnel are an essential element of the logistic support required by the RAF to fulfil its operational role. You’ll need initiative and common sense, as Suppliers are responsible for the whole-life management of RAF assets, from the receipt, storage, handling and distribution of equipment to its ultimate disposal.
As a Logistics Supplier, you’ll use computerised accounting techniques, modern storage methods and mechanical handling equipment. You’ll have the chance to work on airfield fuel installations or in specialist storage areas, or be involved in the delivery of urgently required equipment to the operational front line. These jobs can be either on RAF bases or on deployed bases worldwide.
