Medical Support Officer
Job description: Care for sick or injured military (or entitled civilian) personnel, and either take part in aeromedical evacuation or be associated with a medical treatment facility. Squadrons will provide personnel and equipment, and medical support that is delivered to the highest clinical standards, in order to contribute to the physical, psychological and social well-being of the deployed military force or civilian population.

As a member of 4626/600 Squadron, you will be trained to care for sick or injured military (or entitled civilian) personnel who require aeromedical evacuation. You will be applying your medical skills and experience as part of either a Critical Care Air Support Team (CCAST) or a Medical Emergency Reinforcement Team (MERT).
612/600 Squadron
The Squadron provides the full range of medical support associated with the Role 1 (Basic) Medical Treatment Facility and the Role 2 (Enhanced) Medical Treatment Facility. The roles offered are mainly for medical professionals seeking a new and different challenge. In all of them, you will use and add to your existing medical skills. Depending on the specialty you bring, you will conduct a range of important tasks, ensuring that sick and injured personnel can return to duty as soon as possible.
