Job description: Care for sick or injured military (or entitled civilian) personnel, and either take part in aeromedical evacuation or be associated with a medical treatment facility. Squadrons will provide personnel and equipment, and medical support that is delivered to the highest clinical standards, in order to contribute to the physical, psychological and social well-being of the deployed military force or civilian population.

Joining age: (18–50) (or up to 56 with previous military experience)

Nationality: Citizen of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, or a Commonwealth citizen since birth.

The job

As a member of the Medical Reserve Squadrons, you will be trained to care for sick or injured military (or entitled civilian) personnel who require aeromedical evacuation. You will be applying your medical skills and experience as part of either a Critical Care Air Support Team (CCAST) or a Medical Emergency Reinforcement Team (MERT).
