Reservists play a full part in the RAF’s global operations. They are among the RAF Servicemen and women currently deployed around the world, including on active operations in Afghanistan.

Our overseas missions are important to the UK and to the people of the countries where we serve. Most Reservists can expect to be called up for active service at some time during their career and to work in support of RAF operations.
