Most squadrons recruit locally, within 50–100 miles of their location, to enable Reservists to be close to their jobs and families. However, some recruit on a national basis, so if you like what they offer, you needn’t be confined to your immediate area. The RAF Reserves also offers a limited number of paid full-time positions which are generally filled by ex-Servicemen and women.
