Inter Station Cup and Warrington Morris Shield Tournament

Click here to view a spreadsheet detailing the competition rules for 2011/12 season as well as the fixtures and results tables for the Season 2010/11. The competition rules are primarily the same as last season, teams can arrange games against any opposition with 1 home and 1 away result counting towards their total team points. The total team points will determine which teams enter the Inter Station Cup and which enter the Warrington Morris Shield. A Top Tip is in addition to your usual fixtures try and arrange reliable local fixtures against prison/fire service/police teams, where travel is minimal and fixtures are likely to be fulfilled. Results need to be forwarded to myself by either side (better if both teams inform me rather than none). The total team points will be accumulated from results upto 31 Jan 12.

Items to note – Pass all results to myself, to update merit table

* Results upto 31 Jan 12 will determine which competition teams are entered – Teams are not seeded – top 8 go into a draw for the cup – luck of the draw determining Home or Away fixtures – the same for the draw for the shield

* Quarter Final Draw will take place early Feb with games to be played by Mid March.

* Semi-Finals will be played at RAF Home of Sport, Halton – Date TBC – likely to be early Apr to avoid Inter-Services Fixtures

* Final to be played at RAF Home of Sport, Halton on 2 May 12

Lossiemouth for Defeating Halton/High Wycombe by by 31 - 28 to win the RAF Cup

Honington for Defeating Waddington 20 - 19 to win the Warrington Morris Shield
