A strong competition throughout the group stages of the Halton Bomb saw the Cosford Lions battle it out against other teams from RAF Stations in both the UK and Germany. Succesfily making it through this they then faced RAF High Wycombe and Halton (The Buckinghamshire Bulldogs) in the Semi Final before moving on to beat RAF Marham in the final and raise the RAF Bovingdon Officers Mess Silver Trophy.
