Shirt Presentation

A big thank you goes out to the competition sponsors, BAESys Rochester. A 'shirt' presentation was made at the recent RAFRU Divisional Championships, by the Chairman of RAF Rugby Union, to show everyone's appreciation.

Divisional Matches 04 - 05 Nov 08

As part of the RAFRU drive to reinvigorate grass roots rugby across the Service, it was decided to instigate a Divisional Rugby Tournament. The main reason behind this decision is to bridge the gap between station and representative rugby, previously undertaken by the long defunct Group and Command fixtures. The Tournament would allow the RAFRU to view the untapped talent that undoubtedly exists on units; this includes management and coaches as well as players.

The Tournament took place at RAF Halton on 04 & 05 Nov 08, with the winners of the games on day 1 playing each other on day 2, and the same happening for the day 1 losers.
