| 14 September 2011 A strong competition throughout the group stages of the Halton Bomb saw the Cosford Lions battle it out against other teams from RAF Stations in both the UK and Germany. Succesfily making it through this they then faced RAF High Wycombe and Halton (The Buckinghamshire Bulldogs) in the Semi Final before moving on to beat RAF Marham in the final and raise the RAF Bovingdon Officers Mess Silver Trophy. Cosford Lions move into winning speed | |
| 31 August 2011 The 30 Aug 11 and RAF Cosfords second game of the season at local club Essington. After the first game of the season Head Coach Leigh Cooper had urged the team to focus on its discipline in the contact area and support play. View Report... The third match took them back to Wolverhampton RFC where they were able to improve on their performance from a few weeks back, narrowly losin in the final minutes and finishing the score at 12 - 15. They are now looking forward to the Bomb competition. |
