The RAFRU Ladies squad spent the last week in Boston, Lincolnshire training together towards the Inter-Services, a very physically and mentally demanding week but enjoyed by all. This week was completed with a very hard fought game against Old Albanians. Despite coming away with a 7 - 24 defeat the whole squad were happy with their performance and improvement. The academy weekend held on the 5th September went very well with quite a few new faces of all abilities turning up to take part. Thanks to Flt Lt Ali Brooks for the organisation of the weekend and Sgt Don Rodd for the coaching during the day, a lot was gained from the day and it has shown great promise for the upcoming season.
