The RAFSA Safety Division currently maintains a fleet of 4 Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIB) to provide safety cover:
a Ribcraft 5.85m boat based at RAF Henlow, a Ribcraft 5.3m boat based at RAF Odiham and two Ribcraft 4.8m boats ( Henlow and Rutland).

One of the 4.8m boats is permanently assigned to the Windsurfing division to support the training effort at Rutland Water where RAFSA maintain an RYA acredited training establishment. The other three boats are transported by trailer to the locations/events where they are required.

RAFSA opted for the different sizes of rib to allow them to support events both at small inland locations and offshore events where the weather and sea conditions dictate the use of the larger more robust vessels
