The RAF Shawbury charities committee exists to raise money for charities and to help fund initiatives that directly benefit RAF Shawbury personnel. Each financial year, we adopt a charity as a focus for Station fund-raising efforts, because of a particular local connection to the Station or because it may benefit the wider service community.

RAF Shawbury Adopted charities for Financial Year 2012/2013 is the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA).
