Air Training Corps
The Air Training Corps is a national youth organization sponsored by the Royal Air Force. Membership is open to young people from the aged of 13. The ATC provides a wide range of opportuntities for young men and women alike. If you are interested in flying, sport, adventure training, camping, engineering, shooting, drill, music, abseiling, travel etc then the ATC could be for you. The Air Cadet Organistation develops personal qualities and a sense of community and citizenship valued by employers, both military and civil. You can find out about the air cadets and much more by visiting the Air Cadet Website. In 2006, RAF Spadeadam hosted Summer Camps for the Air Cadet Organisation for the first time in several years. Each camp enjoyed a first class programme of events and made best use of the facilities available at Spadeadam. We look forward to hosting the Air Cadets in 2007.
RAF youth leadership courses
RAF Youth Leadership Courses provide a wonderful insight into life in the RAF. Attendees get to grips with team-working and leadership as they develop their confidence. Among the many challenges are orienteering and paintballing.
RAF Spadeadam hosts a number of Youth Leadership courses throughout the year.
