CarillionEnterprise (C-E)

CarillionEnterprise (C-E) are contracted by Spadeadam providing the largest Non RAF contribution to the stations workforce.

C-E support services include the management, provision and operational and technical support of a variety of sophisticated equipments used to satisfy the EWTR mission. C-E also provide a technical and maintenance service for 'airfield' control including radar and communication facilities. The support is enhanced through their involvement with Information Technology, Motor Transport operations and repair together with Armoury and Supply activities. In the fulfillment of the task C-E employ 50 personnel.

C-E provide this service through a muti-activity contract which has the following tasks:

• Operation and Maintenance of Skyguard Radar for Low Flying Monitoring.
• Deployment & Operation of various radar emitters within the UK and overseas to enable electronic warfare training for aircrew.
• Maintenance of sophisticated communication and airfield radar equipments in support of the Spadeadam mission.
• Motor Transport & Maintenance.
• Ground Support Equipment.
• Information Technology Maintenance and Assistance.
• Supply.
• Armament.
