| The 23 November 2010 saw the RAF Sports Board present the first RAF Sports Awards at RAF Halton, honouring athletes that continue to perform at the highest level despite facing heavy operational pressures overseas. Commonwealth Games medal winners, European Champions and Olympic hopefuls gathered at Halton House Officers Mess to receive their awards from Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshall Sir Stephen Dalton.
