RAF St Mawgan's First Responders
South West Ambulance Services Trust (SWAST)
Based at St Mawgan, the RAF First Responders (RAF and Civilian) attend to emergency calls on behalf of the ambulance service on a Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV). They receive initial training on first aid, medical gases and defibrillation and then have monthly continuation training from Paramedics.
