The Royal Air Force Sub-Aqua Association (RAFS-AA) promotes and supports sub-aqua diving as an adventurous training (AT) activity within the Royal Air Force.

RAFS-AA provides support to RAF Sub-Aqua clubs:

- offering direction on and interpretation of sub-aqua and AT policy.

- running sub-aqua instructor training courses under the BSAC banner.

- identifying and promoting individuals with the attributes and potential to become instructors and Sub-Aqua Dive Supervisors.

- acting as a conduit for inter-branch communication.
