Contact House

The Defence Housing Executive (DHE) has provided RAF Valley with one 3-bedroom house (Penrhyn Close) and a 4-bedroom house (Adams Close, Rhosneigr) to serve as welfare houses and which can be made available for rent to RAF Personnel.

The purpose of these facilities is to provide all ranks with accommodation which can be used for various reasons including: march-out cleaning, in the event of a marital breakdown or to allow children from a previous marriage to visit in a homely environment, to allow friends and family to visit without overloading your house or perhaps to visit RAF Valley prior to arrival on posting.

Both houses are fully furnished, right down to a bottle opener!

The kitchens are fitted with all utilities including a washing machine and tumble dryer. Their is a TV and VCR - with a selection of children videos - in the living room.

The cost to rent the 3-bedroom property in Penrhyn Close is £20 per night and the 4-bedroom house at Adams Close is £25 per night (minimum of 2 nights / maximum of 7 nights). Bookings (for family and friends visiting) can only be made within 2 calendar months of the last day of their intended stay. There is no time constraint for bookings for contact with children, move in / out or unaccompanied personnel family visits. However, bed linen is not included but can be supplied on request for an additional charge of £15.00 per stay. A £20.00 deposit is payable at the time of booking, and full payment is required 14 days before occupation. General bookings can only be confirmed 14 days before occupation, i.e. friends and family to stay.
