The RAF Typhoons is the starting point for all potential Harrier and Hawks players.

The squad trains separately to the mains squads and training is pitched at a more basic level. Qualified coaches instruct basic techniques to players of a wide range of ability. Correct technique leads to faster improvement whilst minimising injury.

The squad takes part in locally arranged matches and organised tournaments such as Norwich as well as military tournament where they represent the mixed team. The Typhoons is open to all military personnel, MoD Civil Servants and Dependants.
