“SHOUTING THE ODDS”
Volunteers from the RAF Waddington Heritage Centre, as part of a county-wide Heritage Lottery Fund initiative, have embarked on an oral history project which is designed to capture the living memories of personnel who served in the RAF and civilians who experienced life during the Second World War. This will help in bringing a personal touch to the museum and its exhibits and help preserve the memory of those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
We would like to record informal interviews with anyone who is prepared to share their experiences. Our volunteers will also gladly travel to meet you to record your memories, if this is more convenient.
