Welcome to RAF Wittering
RAF Wittering is located just south of Stamford, Lincolnshire. It was the Home of the Harrier until the withdrawal of that aircraft from service in December 2010 and still maintains an active airfield in support of other military flying activities.
RAF Wittering is home to a plethora of diverse units, including the Headquarters of the RAF’s expeditionary logistics force and Number 1 Force Protection Wing Headquarters, RAF Regiment.
