Circus 7 – Senior Aircraftman Lee Knight

Lee is a Mechanical Technician and flies with Red 7, Flight Lieutenant David Montenegro. This is his first year on Circus.

Age – 33

Education – Tong Upper School, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Career – Lee joined the Royal Air Force in 2000 and after training served on the Harrier GR7 and GR9 at Royal Air Force Cottesmore. He was there for seven years taking part in many detachments overseas including two operational tours of Afghanistan. He was posted to the Red Arrows in 2008.

Background – Now living in Lincoln, Lee is married to Sarah and the couple have two children, Hannah (12) and Harry (6). He has many interests including charity fundraising. He enjoys keeping fit by running, cycling, swimming and weight training.
