The Red Arrows swapped their flying boots for running shoes when they took part in last Sunday's Sleaford Half Marathon.
The run, which started off from Royal Air Force Cranwell, was completed by three of the pilots, two of the pilots' partners and three of the engineers.
Despite a sterling effort by the Boss, Red 1, Squadron Leader Ben Murphy, who completed the race in 1 hour 37 minutes, he was beaten by the Red Arrows' speedy Corporal Gaz Bartlett, who finished in 1 hour 31 minutes.
The race was part of the Team's training for the London Marathon in April. They are running to raise money to enable RAF personnel serving overseas to telephone home to their families more frequently.
