Accuracy

Accuracy is the oldest of all competetive skydiving disciplines. Competitors exit the aircraft at around 3000ft and aim to land themselves on a 2cm disk on the drop zone. The disk is on an electronic surface that measures where competitors land out to a distance of 16cm. After that a tape measure is used to see how far away a competitor landed from the disk. Top accuracy competitors will frequently land on or very close to the 2cm disk.
