Aerial Photographs of England

Aerial photographs of England taken by the RAF are held by English Heritage in their National Monuments Record (NMR) archive. In 1984 the NMR took on, from the Department of the Environment, the responsibility for the National Library of Aerial Photographs, and the two million RAF and Ordnance Survey aerial photographs contained in it. The NMR's current holdings constitute the largest public archive of aerial photographs of England.
