It is to be noted that the type of frame seen here is that reserved by the Inspector for Volunteer Gliding Squadrons with its distinctive ‘bleu celeste’ (sky blue) circlet. Although a copy of all official ACO badges is kept by the Inspector, the Special Project Officer, ACO Badges & Protocol also keeps a Register of Official Badges obtained from the Inspectorate and in due course all badges will be promulgated in batches within HQAC Routine Orders.

Any ACO formation wishing to apply for official badge is invited to contact the SPO ACO Badges & Protocol or wishes to receive further information or advice on badges should contact Flt Lt Tunesi on acobadges@gmail.com
