Who we are

RAF Commissioned Chaplains are ordained ministers from the major Christian denominations and provide pastoral and spiritual care for all personnel and their dependants irrespective of religious belief or status. Civilian chaplains to the military complement the work of commissioned chaplains by providing chaplaincy from other major world religions. The links on the left of this page provide someshort biographies of serving chaplains; outline the work of the Armed ForcesChaplaincy Centre and the work of the Central Church of the RAF.

If you are an ordained or trainee minister from a MOD recognised denomination and would like to experience ministry in a different context please consider visiting a RAF unit for a day to learn more about ourwork.
