The Samaritans

The Samaritans is a registered charity located in the UK that is available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. Samaritans believe that being listened to, in total confidence, and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate despair and suicidal feelings.

National Gulf Veterans and Families Association

This charity’s mission is:

The Officers'Association

The Officers'Association is a charity dedicated to assisting officers who have retired or are about to retire from Her Majesty's Armed Forces. The Association was founded in 1919 and received the Royal Charter in 1921.

This service provides information, support and practical help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to all those who are experiencing domestic violence. It can refer victims and their children to refuges throughout the United Kingdom.

Swan Advocacy

Swan Advocacy provides advocacy services to those who are disadvantaged due to illness, disability or age who need someone to help them to get their voice heard. An advocate will listen to them, help them understand, and explain their options and choices. The advocate ensures they have the support to make an informed choice and get the help and support they need.
