RAF Police from Number 3 Force Protection Wing deliver Force Protection and Security to Remote Radio Head sites across the UK as part of Project Javelin.

Exercise Javelin 1 saw members of 15 Squadron RAF Regiment’s Tactical Police Flight, based at RAF Marham, undergo a distinct 2 week training package which focussed on core Policing skills in a low threat deployed operational environment, whilst simultaneously providing Force Protection and Security to the Remote Radio Head Site at Portreath.

The culmination of this training package tested the Tactical Police Flight in Law Enforcement, Investigations, Protective Security, Force Protection Security Teams and Air Transport Security scenarios at Remote Radio Head Site. The Exercise cemented the agile capability of 15 Squadron RAF Regiment’s Tactical Police Flight and demonstrated their readiness to operate anywhere.
