Low flying

Flying training takes place all year round at RAF Cranwell. A usual flying day is 8am to 5pm.

Every effort is made to minimise the disruption to local communities. However noise levels may sometimes increase due to training taking place over the airfield or from transiting fast jets or helicopters, which do practice low flying.
