Air Vice Marshal James, Air Officer Commanding, No 22 Group visits RAF College Cranwell as part of his Annual Formal Visit programme.

Last week, Air Vice Marshal James, Air Officer Commanding, No 22 Group visited RAF College Cranwell as part of his Annual Formal Visit programme.

The AOC embarked on a full programme of activities starting with an early morning PT session in College Gym. Following breakfast in the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess, he then met RAF College Cranwell personnel – serving, civilian and contractors in their place of work to understand more about their successes and understanding what future challenges they face.

The visit also included the official reopening of The Lawrence Club (formerly the Hollowday Club); taking part in the Penny Lowe Baton Relay and concluded with the presentation of Honours and Awards to RAF College Cranwell personnel.
