Opening of the Community Wildlife Walk

OPENING OF COMMUNITY WILDLIFE WALK

Today we celebrated World Environment Day with the opening of Station's Community Wildlife Walk. The Commandant officially opened the walk in front of Station personnel and pupils from Cranwell Primary School.

A team of volunteers from our Nature and Conservation Group have worked hard to install bird and bat boxes, insect hotels and nesting boxes to ensure that the myriad of species living in Bristol House Woods have ideal habitats to continue to thrive.

Thank you to everyone involved, and especially to the children of Cranwell Primary School for making and installing an insect hotel.
