Our Officer Cadets deployed locally this week on Exercise Vital Edge, where their leadership skills will be put to the test.
The RAF is constantly reviewing its training priorities as a result of Coronavirus, minimising the delivery of training to that which is absolutely necessary and essential to Defence. The decision to review all training has not been taken lightly and reflects the scale and importance of the RAF's contribution to Defence and to support to Civil Authorities. This is part of a graduated process to allow us to continue to support the government’s Coronavirus Action Plan.
Measures are in place to facilitate social distancing, as well as to abide by other government guidelines just as the public are being asked to do. All reasonable precautions have been taken to protect our personnel and this continues to be closely reviewed.
