The RAF Cranwell Wellbeing Garden was officially opened this week by the Royal Air Force’s Mental Health Champion, Air Vice-Marshal Tamara Jennings.

This amazing space is the result of months of hard work by the Station Health and Wellbeing Committee and Mental Health Network.  With grateful thanks to the RAF Central Fund -who funded the project and to our contractors and dedicated staff who have transformed the space, making it a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful area.

The garden will allow our station personnel to meet for a variety of activities and planned events, whether it is physical or mental activities such as Yoga/Broga (a very physical yoga), Mindfulness, Pilates, meetings, courses, relaxation and gardening.

The Wellbeing Garden supports the Community Support Action Plan and contributes to the overall welfare of the individual, team, organisation and the “lived experience at RAF Cranwell.
