Operators flying drones near any military airfield must ensure they are aware of the UK policy for their safe operation. The Drone Code forms part of the Civil Aviation Authority's advice and guidance to drone operators which can be found on their website.
If you are looking to operate a Unmanned Aerial System within the vicinity of RAF Linton on Ouse then please complete the UAS booking in form. Once complete, please email the completed form to Lin-StationOps@mod.gov.uk
Occasional night flying phases take place with Tucanos flying up to midnight typically over a two week period.
Night flying phases are notified in advance to local parish councils.
The public can safely watch aircraft from the viewing area on Linton Lane.
Flying training usually takes place from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. There is also some flying at weekends.
