Tourist attractions
RAF Scampton Heritage Centre
Scampton also plays host to The RAF Scampton Heritage Centre, a small museum that acknowledges the Stations historical past, with exhibitions covering the famous "Dambuster" Raids, our First and Second World War heritage and all aspects of service activity from the 1960's to date.
The Centre is run by a small team of volunteers and opens most weekdays all year round. Tours usually run between 1100 - 1500 although other times and occasional weekend visits may be possible. You will be escorted throughout your time on site and will enjoy a bespoke guided tour that can last for a couple of hours.
N.B. Visits are FREE, no charges apply.
