Commencing on the 20th January 2020 work will begin to enhance and extend the life of the operating surfaces at RAF Woodvale airfield.
In 2019 we underwent significant maintenance work on our long runway which was re-surfaced and re-painted, now it is the turn of the short runway and adjacent taxiways to undergo similar work. The task is planned to be completed between 4 and 5 weeks from commencing however, this will be totally dependent on having reasonable weather!
Consultation between RAF Woodvale and the contractor has taken place to ensure consideration is paramount during the work period to ensure that any disruption to the local community and area in general is kept at a minimum.
