The Chief of the Air Staff’s Air Power Conference returns to the IET in London this year, for two days of future-focussed discussion, over 11 and 12 July 2018. The conference sits in the middle of a big week for the RAF, which also includes an Aircraft Tour in Horse Guards Parade, a ceremonial parade down The Mall, a flypast over Buckingham Palace and RIAT.
Building the next generation Air Force
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘building the next generation Air Force’. Topics will include emerging technologies in the air, space and cyber spheres, whilst also examining the challenges that air forces will face technologically, structurally and doctrinally. Senior Government Ministers, RAF senior officers, business leaders and up to 60 international air chiefs are just some of those confirmed as attending the conference so far.
