Air Training Corps (ATC)

864 (Marham) Detached Flight Air Cadets

We offer young people a chance to get active, learn new skills and make new friends in an inspirational and safe environment. Under the guidance of our fully qualified staff we can offer many activities for cadets to take part in and every opportunity to build their strengths and improve their confidence.

The "Air Cadets" provide the opportunity for members to take part in a huge and diverse range of exciting and challenging activities. Staged activities throughout the year are organized at National and Regional level, many others take place locally. If your interest is in Flying, Sports, Adventure Training, Camping, Engineering, Shooting, Drill, Water sports, Rock Climbing… (the list is a VERY long one!). A number of the competitive elements could see you competing at International level. There is also a very important social aspect too - you will get to meet and make a lot of new friends. The ACO develops personal qualities and a sense of community and citizenship valued by employers, both military and civil.

Want to join as a cadet?
The Air Cadets have lots to offer any potential recruit and many of the awards and experiences you could gain as a cadet can be used in whatever you decide to do. We're not interested in anything but you and your potential and we will help you get the most from your experience as a cadet.

Whatever your nationality, background or ability, whether you're male or female, if you're between 13 and 17 years old you can join us.
