First Response - Training

RAF Marham First Response - Volunteers Required

Marham First Response is looking for new volunteer members to join the team.

Could you commit to operating a Front Line Rapid Response Car, providing Clinical Skills and helping to Save lives in and around the local community?

Marham First Response is looking at running a Clinical training course covering Intermediate Life Support, Trauma, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. As well as all other aspects of First Aid and Patient Care.

Applicants prior to joining the Team must undergo several observation shifts on R662 (Marhams Response Car) and be interviewed by a member of the Ambulance Service and from within the team.

Once selected you will undergo a week long intensive training course undertaken by the East Anglian Ambulance Service.

Once qualified you will join the team and be expected to operate on the car at least 3 shifts per month* as a Clinical Responder. (*Shifts run from 18:00 - Midnight)

As well as joining Marham First Response you will be required to attend continuation training which takes place monthly. And to commit to Charity fund-raising events which provides the core funding to keep the scheme operating in and around the county.
