Motor Cycle Club

RAF Marham Motor Cycle Club (MCC)
There is a very vibrant motorcycle club on the Station. It is opened to all Service and MoD civilians. The only caveat is that you must have access to a motorbike! The reson detra of the club is simply to promote safe riding. It does this through club nights and organised ride outs during the summer. This year, the club hopes to organise a major ride out on the 8th July 2006 to the Nurenberg Ring in Germany. This facility opens it doors to the public on set days and it is a 13 mile track with no speed limits! There are up to 24 slots available.

For more detail, you may wish to visit the Clubs website. The membership is £8.00 pa and this gives you free British Motorcycle Federation Membership which costs around £20.00 and other perks which include discount on insurance and free access to BMF run events.

The Club House is located in the ex-Rugby Club near the Junior Ranks Mess and it is hoped that it will have a full workshop facility and long term storage capability for persons on detachments, by early spring. There is no limit to the cc of the bike and for further information contact the events coordinator.
