RAF Marham Shooting Club
The RAF Marham Shooting Club is a Home Office approved shooting club open to service personel and MoD employed civilians. The club operates from the shooting club (Bldg 164) which is located between DCRE and GEF, and which contains an indoor air weapons range, where members can practise on weekly club nights. The club has a target air pistol and a number of small and full bore target rifles which may be used to compete in external events or at a local civilian clubs by invitation.

The Station Shooting Team (SST) is drawn from the membership of the club and competes in a number of competitions and disciplines, primarily with the service rifle and pistol, but also in target rifle and air pistol disciplines. The service shooting competitions include competing at station and command level at the Command and RAF Skill at arms meetings, and members have in the past been selected to represent the RAF competing in Inter-service and prestigious overseas shooting competitions.

The shooting club is currently open to new members (membership is £10 for the current year) and will be running a training programme to select personnel for the SST. The club intends to imminently host an open evening, the date of which will published in SROs, for prospective new members.

Regular Club nights are held on Wednesdays after work, prospective members should contact the secretary in the first instance.

Any enquiries regarding the Shooting Club should be addressed to The RAF Marham Station Gymnasium.
