After a hugely successful concert in 2011 The Brass Ensemble of The Band of the RAF Regiment are returning to Caythorpe to give a free concert for all. Cpl Trudy Hobson organised the concert last year as a way of showing the village and St Vincent's Church where she worships, what RAF Music has to offer. The concert was so successful that the village constantly request their return.

This year concert will show the diversity of the musicians within the Band of the RAF Regiment through different genres of music, smaller ensembles performing including the Brass Quintet and the Trombone Quartet. The program will show case the versatility of the musicians with SAC Thomas Buckley showing his skills not only on the euphonium, but also the trombone, and that rare sight, the valve trombone!

The chosen music gives the audience everything in one night, movie magic, traditional brass, military marches with a twist, jazz and pieces that were written for and only performed by RAF Musicians.

The concert is completely free, no catch, so come and join us for an evening of music, fun and laughter amongst friends with plenty of refreshments in the interval.
