Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Armed Forces Day 2017

On Saturday 17 June the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment will provide musical support to the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Armed Forces Day held at the Aylesbury Rugby Club. The Band will play twice during the day, at 12:30 in the Main Arena and at 14:45 on the Acoustic Stage.

Armed Forces Day was established as a chance for the public to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community. From currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. 2015 was the last time Aylesbury Rugby Club hosted this sell out event, which saw Armed Forces personnel, veterans, cadets and their families join Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes residents to swell numbers at the day to more than 9,500.

Another celebratory family friendly fun day event is planned for this Saturday. With air displays, live music, live sport, attractions, craft stalls and also the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest Lindyhop. This is a day not to be missed!

Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, a county with a rich Armed Forces Heritage, have signed an Armed Forces Covenant that aims to recognise, remember, integrate and support their local Armed Forces Community. Why not come along and enjoy this wonderful event?
