General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG)

The GPMG has been a firm favourite with the RAF Regiment since its introduction in the 1906s due to its battle proven reliability, accuracy and firepower. It is is a gas operated, belt fed, air cooled fully automatic weapon with a bipod and iron sights for use in the light role.  It provides RAF Regt units with high volumes of sustained burst fire at Section, Flight and Squadron level upto 800m.  It is simple to learn and easy to fire and stoppages are rare and can be easily remedied.
