On 21 Sep MyRAF launched. It's the first web-based application (App) for the RAF and one of the ways we are trying to make things easier for Service personnel. For the first time, all Service personnel will be able to access a range of Defence Welfare and Support services from the comfort of their own personal devices - at home, or on the go.
Innovative new digital tools like this reflect the Astra ethos, helping to modernise support services to make things simpler. Traditionally spread out across the Station or unit, MyRAF joins up the huge range of Welfare and Support that the RAF offers in one easily accessible, user-friendly place – right there in your pocket! From JPA to health and wellbeing advice - it’s all in the App, with plans to add more functions in the future.
MyRAF will help to improve the lived experience of all our Service Personnel, Regular and Reserve and it is complemented by My SCIO, a desktop version of the App.
My RAF can be accessed on the RAF website here, once you have a Defence Gateway account. Follow the instructions to log on via your smart phones and personal devices and that’s it.
The functionality in MyRAF and My SCIO relies on the accuracy of self-service JPA data - so check the data on your JPA data is both current and accurate. If you need guidance on completing a JPA Personal Information Check, contact your Unit HR.
