Armed Forces Covenant Trust - Latest Recipients

The latest round of funding from the Armed Forces Covenant, Force for change programme has just been announced, with 54 grants totalling £511,073.00 awarded. The full list of recipients is available by clicking on the image below and before that are details of those RAF units which received funding:

RAF Valley 

Community Support Phoenix Integration Project - £10,000

The project ‘Community Support Phoenix Integration Project’ will encourage participation in a safe program of community activities in fun activities promoting wellbeing recovery, and encourage interactions between Armed Forces and civilian communities

RAF Marham

Break Out - £10,000

RAF Marham is in very rural Norfolk, regular large deployments impact on the families and Service Personnel. Break Out will support the Families Club, Junior Ranks Club and Youth Club which will bring people together as well as helping them to become more engaged and reducing social isolation and loneliness.

RAF Waddington

Wellness Project 2 - £4,680

With this grant, RAF Waddington will deliver weekly wellbeing activity classes to support physical and mental wellbeing of individuals and to enhance quality of life.

RAF College Cranwell

Focusing on the Community - £8,800

RAF College Cranwell wants to put “Community focus” back into the RAF Cranwell whole force community by providing a mixture of relevant activities that will offer support through focused and generic activities alongside the opportunity for people to meet in an environment that will allow for exploration of feelings post Covid lockdown.
